The Cauayan Medical Specialists Hospital is a second level general hospital, licensed by the DOH and owned
and managed by a corporation. It is located in Cauayan City, Isabela. It was established in March 2004 and
the incorporators include14 physicians belonging to different specialties and a lawyer. It is built in such
a way that there is good lighting and ventilation. It serves the city of Cauayan and the nearby
municipalities. It is located along one of the minor thoroughfares in the city, right beside the building
where some government agencies like the population commission and COMELEC hold their offices.
Its aim is to provide the highest level of clinical care and management to the people of Isabela and nearby
provinces through compassionate, competent, and skilled medical and paramedical personnel, utilizing the
most innovative technology and affordable services.
The hospital vision is to become a prominent and trusted tertiary hospital and to bring to the
people of Region II the practice, organization, system and technology that distinguish the prestigious
medical centers in the country.
The hospital offers both out-patient and in-patient services. It has a secondary level laboratory, x-ray and
ultrasound facilities, 24-hour pharmacy, an endoscopy unit, newborn screening services, operating room
complex, a central supply room, an orthopedic and rehabilitation medicine section, medical records, dietary
services and an intensive care unit.
